A Rose By Any Other Name

So I stopped by my friend Ray Kachatorian’s studio the other day to talk about various things and he ended up sticking me on a stool, pulling out his camera and shooting me for about 45 minutes.

I was not prepared for this in the least.  I had no idea he was going to shoot nor that he had any intention to shoot. But when an artist of Ray’s caliber says, “Sit on that Stool, I’m gonna shoot you” you kinda jump at the opportunity and do what he says.

Click Here and you’ll see what I mean.

It’s a pretty incredible thing to be around such amazingly talented people.  And quite honestly why I decided years ago to start producing.  I wanted to provide opportunities for artists to expand and for people to be exposed to their works.  It’s a labor of love.

The Coterie is one of those labors.  Julie Garnye and I are so very excited about re-creating this cool venue in Los Angeles to do just that, provide a platform for artists of all kinds in an environemnt where people can come and experience music, art, drama and conversation.
